New Expedition - Burning Smell when Towing a Hill

At first it smelled like epoxy or something being mixed but now it just has a bit of a burning popcorn smell. We don’t get it any other time whether towing or not.

Is this just burning off some factory coatings or do we have an issue the dealer should look at? I tried calling service to talk to someone and have struggled to get a call back. Experience and opinions appreciated.
