The click I hear when trying to start sounds like it's coming from the center console. Probably a shift lock solenoid.

cables on the starter, negative terminal on starter to ground post on battery, From the positive post on battery to starter positive terminal. Both at rest and while trying to start.
Ground post to Starter Negative Post .000
Ground post to Starter Body .000
Ground post to Transmission .000
Ground post to Engine .000

Positive post to Starter Positive Post 12.53
Starting postion voltage drops
Run position voltage returns to base

The other positive .000 in all position (unless I did this wrong or even needed to)

Jump the starter with both positive studs and the starter motor spins.

Probably should have jumped the pinion gear, maybe?

It is in between the battery and the starter somewhere. follow the positive cable to it, or go to the starter and follow positive cable back to the solenoid.
I did follow the cables from the starter to the battery. They go from the starter towards the front with a couple of lines. Then up the right side of the radiator then to the battery. Found nothing along the way but looms.

Just got off the phone with Ford Wholesale Parts. The truck no longer has the seperate starter selonoid / relay under the hood like my old 99. Just whats on the starter.

Confirmed with a $teeler$hip Parts Dept. Ford did away with the relays. Just whats on the starter.

Funny the first $teeler$hip Parts Dept. told me to look it up in the owners manual, WOW.

Checked fuses and swapped some relays.

Fuse box:
Ignition Fuse: 20A Correct Fuse and Not blown
Pats Transceiver Fuse: 5A Correct Fuse and Not blown

Distribution box:
Fuel Pump Relay: Swapped with known working (A/C).
Fuel Pump Fuse: 20A correct Fuse and not blown.
PCM Fuse: 10A correct Fuse and not blown.
Transmission B+ Fuse: 15A Correct Fuse and BLOWN and keeps blowing.
Starter Motor Fuse: 30A Correct Fuse and Not blown
Run/Start Bus Bar Fuse: 40A Correct Fuse and Not blown
PCM Bus Bar Fuse: 30A Correct Fuse and Not blown
Starter Relay: Swapped with known working
Run Start Passenger Side Fuse: 30A Correct Fuse and Not blown
PCM (sensors) - EFC, A/C Clutch coil Fuse: 20A Correct Fuse and Not blown
Fuel Coil, ISP-R Fuse: 5A Correct Fuse and Not blown
PCM (Ingnition Coils) Fuse: 20A Correct Fuse and Not blown
Transmission Ignition Fuse: 5A Correct Fuse and Not blown
PCM (sensors) - HEGO/CMS, MAFS, EVMV, CMCV Speed deviation switch, VCT Fuse: 20A Correct Fuse and Not blown
PCM - VPWR Fuse: 20A Correct Fuse and Not blown

Nothing has changed the No Crank condition remains.

May test relay if I can.
Fuel Pump Relay:
Starter Relay:
PCM Relay:

Looks like I found another issue with the blown fuse unless this is the cause of the no crank condition.

I thought that that switch has to do with Shift lock solenoid not unlocking.

Checked it any way, my son says the left light is out the top right.

All lights checked and replaced as needed.

Clean the battery terminals and posts, you can get lights but not enough current to start. The starter needs 100x more current than the lights.

Tap on the starter with a plastic mallet too. Sometimes the starter solenoid gets stuck.

Battery terrminals and post are immaculately clean as if new. Batterry is one month old.

Tapped the starter first, but today is a new day maybe it will change its attitude.

There have been many threads of no start that have ended up being the brake switch. The brake lights might be working but still not activate the start when you press on the brake.
So inspect the brake switch itself.
I thought that that switch has to do with Shift lock solenoid not unlocking.

Before problem could you start truck without pressing the brake?
