F150 power fold mirror on Expy

Like I said, I love my 2012 Expy, the ride, the design, the whole shabang! At the age it’s at, it’s starting to have issues with the mirrors power fold motor. I went to the junk yard and found a driver side assembly but then I saw an F150 power fold mirror that had the approach signal on the mirror side like mine, but also had a front facing signal on the back of the mirror. Thought that might be a cool safety addition to my Expedition.

Has anyone tried installing the F150 mirrors on a gen 3 Expedition?

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that side of the mirror on the F-150 just a reflector? I believe only the back side illuminates.

Hi, I’m wondering if you ever did fit these onto your 3rd Gen. Expedition? I might be doing exactly the same to be able to add these off road LED lights to them as they don’t make them for our Expeditions. Check this out!
