Went and picked it up yesterday. Still need to find the $2500 PCO card since Ford is adamant they can't see it in their system. I was told that if I can find it within 90 days then Ford would cut me a check for the amount.
I had a few thoughts/concerns with the vehicle as-delivered:
- I love the Stone Blue. Ford really needs to fix the color representations on their website. It looks nothing like the real thing.
- Truck had 80 miles on it.
- There were a few good dings in the hood. I'm assuming this was from the transport. Looks like some rocks came up on it. A few scratches and chips. Not happy for what we pay for transport costs. They were able to buff them out pretty well.
- Small chip on the rear passenger door right under the chrome belt line. This one is going to need some touch-up paint.
- The seat belt receptacle on the front passenger seat just flops around and rattles against the front console. We compared it to another expedition on the lot and it's the same. So, I guess that's the way it is? If you push the receptacle forward or backwards so it's sandwiched between the seat and console then it stops.
- Random screws in one of the door pockets.
- The trim piece on the roof just inside the rear hatch was hanging down and had to be snapped up into place.
- Both running board come down no matter which side you're on. Seems very strange.
- There seems to be a slight shimmy/shake when going over 75. Need to test it out more on a road I know is smooth.
- I traded in a RAM 1500 Limited. The Expedition quality seems to be much higher, but the RAM's interior was "nicer" with better material selection, nicer leather, wood trim, styling, etc. I guess that's subjective.
Other than that, it's been pretty good.
