Here is a recent article, with photos, of the massive amount of built trucks (but missing parts) that Ford is storing at the Kentucky Speedway (visible from the I-71 expressway): https://www.fox19.com/2022/09/28/unsellable-ford-trucks-fill-kentucky-motor-speedway-parking-lot/
and its not just the chip/part hold trucks, the ones they finally get a chip/part installed in and its built and done; sit there for even longer waiting for a ride. mine went from in production-sent offsite (chip hold) on 8/24 to fully built by 9/7. and its estimate for shipping was 9/21 - 9/27, but got a email on 9/27 saying its now 11/8 - 11/14. I expect I will get another delay email on 11/14, but dont care since I abandoned that order and just went and found a XP MAX limited stealth with same options (and more) as the XP limited stealth of "my" order at a dealer 3 hours from home.

I saw that news clip of CEO saying that. It's one thing to not ship since a critical part/chip is needed for vehicle to operate properly, but a piece of decorative plastic that gets dbl-sided taped on? crazy! just ship the truck and mail people the piece of plastic later or not at all. I'm well aware I'm driving a Ford Expedition Max 4x4 Stealth, the missing $78K from my bank account reminds me everyday :)

Whoa, stumbled upon this article about the sea of Ford trucks at the Kentucky Speedway – it's wild! It's crazy to think they're all built but missing parts. The photos tell quite a story. Wonder what's going on there? Also, side note – if you're into trucks and looking for something unique, you might want to check out truckexporter.co.uk. They often have a variety of trucks, and who knows, you might find something that piques your interest.

You do realize that was well over a year ago? It's not the case now.
