I have got a 2014 Expedition XL and the gear shifter needs to be replaced. The original part number (AL1Z-7210-AD) is now 'pending obsolete' so I can't find a replacement. Anyone have any ideas for alternate part numbers that would work? Color / trim doesn't matter to me as long as it works. I asked the dealership and they couldn't seem to grasp what I was asking. I have a hard time believing that it's this part number or nothing on an 8 year old vehicle that they produced so many of.

Car-part.com or a local salvage yard would be my go-to. Maybe eBay.
