I ordered a ‘23 (Black, 303A, Sync 4A) on Sept 27th. No VIN, and received an email last week saying they have no production timeline and they will try to update me every 45 days.

we may be in the minority in that we're cool with the 6-8 month timeline. There's actually one on the lot we could buy, but want some time for a bigger down payment.
Everyone is in a different situation, that works great for you! I have a kid on the way for February so I was hoping to have it by then but that doesn’t seem very likely.
Did you select the delete options like delete auto stop/start, power windows and foot activated tailgate? Curious why others that ordered around the same time have a build week of 12/5 from ford but you don’t.

It might be worth it to try and get a detailed look at the options on your order, compared to the latest version of the published Order Guide. I don’t know for sure, but if the order was placed without all of the Required Options (such as auto-start-stop delete, etc) it could potentially affect production scheduling. And you are after a Max, where I believe most of the posts are for standard length models…. Good luck!
@doubleeagle45 @ben245 I attached my order sheet. I have the auto start/stop removal and hands free lift gate removal. Anything else you can suggest to speed this up?

Nothing sticks out of the ordinary and like most of us you did delete the right things. The only thing I see is your priority code is 19 and I am under the impression this is a standard retail order. Maybe talk to your dealer about that and see if they can change to 10 which is “friend of the dealer”. Good luck.
