The HO motor gets the same exhaust as the Navigator and the horrible muffler that drones into the backseat floor! The no HO has the single piping.

Just got this from the parts department. Does anyone know if it will work on my Limited SPP? Maybe not the front plate, like the previous post state that it does sit higher.

$2400, are you kidding me. I think i'm all in around $1200 for the RCI with the new catalytic converter guards. And yes, it wasn't perfectly bolt on and I had a few pieces i added here and there, but man, it's is far beefier than these parts. I don't have a fuel tank skid but i'm working on that with RCI.

From experience I can tell you that felt pan is not helpful at all. I hit mine on a dirt road/ mud road on a rut and it smashed it in and scooped up a bunch of mud, which fell all over me when I went to change the oil a few months later. I was able to sort of flatten it back out but it does not offer ANY protection.

Any word on when the real tranny skid plate will be available?
I just ran across this today. If you shop around, you can find it for around $235. Part #NL1Z5D032C

I know. I thought it was kind of crazy too. Saw the RCI, looks good, I may do that. Wonder if that would void any warranty? Keep us posted on the fuel tank.

There's reality no way it could blood any warranty, as it doesn't really modify anything. I used all existing holes in the frame, drilled a couple holes in the skid plates but that's it.

I've had it in for service several times with no issues, I'm sure the tech is annoyed but I actually think any good tech would appreciate well made plates.

I will be honest, I know in the 22 it seems there are some exhaust changes and other things. I'd be curious how well it would fit. Might require a guinea pig and some work with the guys at rci, they've been super helpful to me.

I ordered the transmission skid plate for the Timberline on Monday. Went to the dealer to look at today. It is a reasonably stout sheet of metal. Its painted black. Having it installed next week.
