Just replaced my OEM Bridgestone 20" with Continental Terrain Contact. They were $900 OTD, then got $140 rebate card very quickly.

I've owned a lot of Michelin tires, most recently the LTX 20" on my Yukon. They ride nice, yet don't wear that well. Same with tires for my Avalon. Like the Conti's so much I got a set (different model) for my Lexus RX. Very quiet.

Yeah these tires are absolute garbage. All four of mine won’t balance.

I spoke with the dealer who sold it to me. They will not take it back. They said they don't have the license to sell used tires.
I have to try calling a few tire shops

I swapped the 22” Generals on mine to Michelin LTX Defenders before I brought it home. I think they charged me around $1,200 to swap them.

My 22 limited came with 22 inch Grappers and sat for 3 months waiting for chips in the winter. Flat spots. Ford replaced them with General Grappers ATX, since the Grapper OEM was discontinued. After their road force, I didnt like the ride at 60 and above. Had them road forced balance by an out side big truck tire shop as I don't trust the dealer. The dealer tech never took off the old wts and just added more. Thus my distrust for dealers. One failed marginally so we put in on the rear. Grapper Atx is a much more aggressive tread that is very noisy particularly on cement vs asphalt and just sings. Tires not happy until they warm up. Most likely will wear quickly too. Won't go back to General. I want a road truck tire, not a off road tire that is quiet. The ride is so much better now that the truck shop did the RFB, past 85 mph. 5k and no other issues with the Expy.

I also had the general grabber 22's. My truck sat for five months waiting on chips. After driving over 60 mph thr whole truck shook. Took back to dealer. It took two weeks to get approval from ford to replace tires. What a joke. I had more miles on the loaner after two weeks than my own car. Ford approved to replace. My dealer replaced them with perilli at3's. Very nice ride now.

Mine sat for a couple months awaiting parts, but fortunately no flat spots on the Grabbers. Unfortunately the traction on these absolutely suck. If it wasn’t going to be crazy expensive for new tires I would be putting something else on immediately.

Not sure about selling your current tires, but I found a place in Oceanside that gets new take-offs and resells them. I bought 4 new Michelins for $400 installed from them for our 2017. I was able to inspect the tires inside and out before the purchase—not even a scuff let alone a patch. Look on FB Market or Craigslist—that is where I found this place.

LOL–after reading more of the responses, we replaced the tires we had on the Expy for 2 reasons. 1) they got flat spots after sitting for as little as a week. 2) they were weather checked/dry rotted at 3 years old. I don’t remember what brand they were, but they were likely OEM as the truck only had 24K on the odometer.

I have a 22 Limited Max 302A, HD Tow, eLSD. General Grabbers on the car. I have 6200 miles on them so far, the vast majority on long road trips. No complaints so far. Haven't encountered snow or ice yet, so that is TBD. And I'm sure there are better tires that can be had; I figure I'll just stick with these as long as I can stand them and then upgrade to something better.
