First post, thanks for the add......I have a 2000 Expedition 4.6 XLT VIN 8th digit 6 Windsor with a non-pi engine/ heads. The only thing I am finding in stock for crate engines are the engines with the pi heads. Plenty of manufacturer options on those engines for Windsors and Romeos, but it seems no one has any of the NPI engines. Has anyone used their NPI intake, lower and upper, on a pi headed engine? If so, what were the complications, and how did you resolve the incompatibility of these two components? Having a reputable machine shop rebuild my engine has been a dead end. Not many are willing to do it, or they are five or six months out lead time.

I would recommend powertrainproducts. I have not personally used them, but Fordtechmakuloco has recommended them in the past. Someone else may chime in here.

Thanks for the info. I did call them and that might be an option. They say that they do sell the 4.6 NPI, but it could be 8 weeks out. That may be my only option. The reviews for all these nationwide reman builders are a little discouraging regarding their warranty horror stories. It would be nice to hear some positive stories from anyone on here that dealt with them specifically with an Expedition engine.
