Hey guys been searching for the right answers for a few weeks now and haven’t found a solid answer. Seems like my body styles not a very common one to be lifted?

I would like to do a 3/2 with ready lift. The trucks got air suspension/ccd/and self level with a trailer hooked up.

It looks like on the 18+ the rear struts need to be swapped from side to side and add some adjustable arms for the ccd? Is that all the same for mine a 2016?

I was wanting to make a detailed post with pictures or a YouTube video doing the lift so there’s more info out there.

I just put on some method 17s with aggressive 0 offset and 295/70 that surprisingly fit well with very very little rub on the step. But there’s so much tire I need some lift to look better.

Good luck with your project. Did you add air suspension and self leveling? CCD is neither of those, FYI. It is magnetic controlled shock damping. Mine has it and you will need a WD hitch if towing anything of decent size. I believe non-CCD models did have self leveling shocks in the rear but many on here have said they are not very good. I tow a 6500 lb. travel trailer and found the Normal setting on the suspension best for towing. Good luck!

Thank you, just trying to get my ducks in a row and have the right information before I get into it. I don’t tow much more than a few Miata’s that I own right now. Maybe a small camper down the road.

As far as I know the platinum has all three CCD/air shocks/and self leveling? Or it was added from the dealer? I bought the car salvage with 20k on it 5 years ago. Under driver suspension settings, I could change it from sport, normal, and comfort.

In the beginning, I was thinking the platinum’s were not able to be lifted at all, unless changing out the air suspension, but I was worried that it might throw codes and I don’t want to drive around like that.

CCD is only the magnetic shocks - no air and no leveling. I run mine in Normal 95% of the time. Provides a smooth ride. Had a loaner Limited and it felt like mine in Comfort mode - just a bit too floaty. If somebody added an air system you should see a lot more hardware under there. Those are some aggressive looking boots you got there!!

Did you document what you had to do to get the title converted into something you could insure and drive on the street? I know others might be interested in that - there have been a couple of posts from people that were interested in salvage Expys recently.

I agree way too much float for me, I like sport.

So do the ride height sensors work with the CCD? Most the online things Iv read that talk about the RHS are talking about air bags. I guess that’s what’s been confusing me.

I found adjustable arms for theRHS wondering if that’s all that’s making these kid not work with certain suspension

This truck was already fixed when purchase but still a great deal paid 33k at the time. Other same mile trucks where 50k+ I got a lone no problem with a rebuilt/salvage title.

I have fixed passed cars with clean titles and licensed them just had to have my insurance company inspect it after the repair.

I believe in my area to have the title made a rebuilt the car needs an extensive inspection is all after the repairs are done.

My 2012 EL has the rear air suspension and I had a 4x4 shop install the Readylift 3/2 kit on it a year ago. The tech said he just disassembled the air struts and rotated the bottom portion of the struts so they would mount in the original factory location. I told him about switching the rear struts from side to side but he said the upper portion of the struts wouldn't fit on opposite sides due to the connection for the air supply lines not fitting under the strut towers. Note you don't need the aftermarket adjuster leveling arms. I purchased them too but the factory arms work just fine. I have no clue how to disassemble the struts but maybe there's a youtube video. Best of luck.
