So to follow up n my previous post of being notifed of an 11/15 production date has now been pused back to 2/25. Ordered 9/7 so about SIX MONTH wait....how screwed up can Ford be???? Quite a lot as it appears. I ordered a KR with no options other than Star White color......
Well, there is your problem. Ford does not have parts to build Expys without the HD tow option until Feb/March. Add the HD tow and it will likely move in. There are numerous other posts around about that. Plus your dealer should have that information and be able to tell you that.

Have heard from buyers getting other makes (Ram in particular) that a few dealers are selling for less than MRSP. Any one know of Ford dealers doing this?

My 2023 Expedition is under invoice from Granger Ford in Iowa. I live out of market, and have had a Bronco reservation with them for going on 2 1/2 years. I’m not sure if my deal is tied to being a long suffering Bronco reservation holder or not, but I can’t recommend them highly enough. They are top notch.

Call dealer and add the HD tow pkg. Everything above XLT has a hold unless the order includes the HD tow pkg.

I ordered on 9/12. Sometime in early Oct I got an email from Ford with a Nov 28 build date. On Thanksgiving day the tracker showed “ in production” so yay, it’s earlier than I thought. Then, on Nov 30, my window sticker became available, and the Ford tracker shows “in production” with a date of 12/5 next to it. I’ve checked the “module build sheet” and its populated, yet I have no clue what any of it means. Awesome right? Things are progressing, and I’ll get my new ride before my current trade in loses much more value. WRONG.. Today, I got this email from ford. What the hell? My order is a King Ranch Max, with HD Tow, and the required deletions.
Anyone else with a build date get this?

Here’s the update we promised you on your order

We understand it has been too long since you last heard from us. Just wanted to give you an update on the status of your Expedition King Ranch order. While production of your vehicle was projected to begin the week of November 28, 2022, supply chain challenges continue to cause delays and uncertainty.
This is frustrating, we get it. We want nothing more than to get your Ford up on the line and start assembling it. And we will continue to work hard to reduce the delays to try to get you on the road in your new vehicle soon.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated as we get more information, at least once every 45 days. Hang in there. We really do appreciate your patience and understanding.

Its amazing we are still experiencing staffing/supply shortages. I thought the pandemic ended? People need to get back to work! How bout we not pay for other peoples college tuition's with our tax money and people get back to work to pay it off themselves. Blasphemy.

It really wouldn’t be so bad if they just explained what the delay is. A little communication goes a long way. The same old generic ******** “supply chain” is played out.

...I don't see how those three things are correlated, am I missing something?
