So over the last couple of days I have just finished installing a new fuel pump. Now as soon as I connect everything back up how it should be, the fuel gage says empty. Even the "miles to E" is 0. Plz for the love of God say this is a easy fix or do I need to take it apart again?

Thank you in advance for any advice

I'm not sure. My first thought was, is the fuel sending float connected correctly or is it hitting the side of the tank. Is the fuel pump getting power? Is the pump running as expected?

When you put the new pump on did the gauge work full to mt when tank was still down?

Does it go threw the fuel pump module. Behind the drivers rear tire. Those are known to go bad.
