I listed this question on FB page, but for some reason no one ever responds to my posts there. I need a little advice please.

I have a 2020 Max Limited. Bought it with 30k on it and now have 70k. Have done nothing maintenance wise other than oil changes, tire rotate and brake pads. I feel some of the things in the suggested maintenance are unnecessary. Is there any maintenance I for sure should not be ignoring at this point?

I appreciate your insight.

What items in the suggested maintenance do you feel are unnecessary?

Do you follow Ford’s maintenance recommendation in the vehicle owner’s manual?

Your local dealer will suggest blinker fluid and fuel additives every 5000 miles for $300 while stripping out your lug nuts and grinding your brake discs down to replacement spec

I would suggest looking into a change of spark plugs as boosted motors are somewhat hard on them

Air Filter, Cabin air filter, absolutely necessary. Between now and 100k I would do differential, transmission, and brake system fluid changes, and replace the drive belt.

Spark plugs every 20k miles. Like the other posts, the EcoBoost is tough on spark plugs. Even worse if you have a tuner. I go through plugs in 15k miles. I feel slight misses but no CEL. When I change the plugs it goes away for another 15k miles.

I would also change your transmission fluid and the diff cases. Diff case oil was super nasty when I changed them at 20k miles.
