Hi everyone,

Is it possible to make it so this reminder about the seatbelt stops coming up or making it go away quicker without having to press the “ok” button on the steering wheel EVERYTIME I start the car? I’ve looked thru the settings and I’ve tried everything I could find online but nothing makes it go away. That reminder should disappear after I put it in drive and start moving but it stays up for an unecessarily long time if you don’t press ok. I don’t want to have to press it everytime i start the car like I did on my previous vehicle having to disable the auto start/stop each time it was started. I know other people don’t like it either but it’s a major pet peeve of mine when something stupid like this can’t be changed.

Thanks

I’m curious - does this warning appear although the seatbelts are fastened after engine start, but prior to shifting the transmission into gear?

Problem solved.

How does that work? I buckle my belt before I even start the car and I still get the display for 60 seconds.
It won't get rid of the display, it allows you to not hear the chime, etc. if you don't want to wear your seatbelt.
