Ordered 11/3/22 and production date is showing on the tracker as 1/17/23. Was supposed to be built the production week of 1/9/23.

I found the website was slow to update once it hit the production level. It still showed in production when I got a call from the dealership that it was assembled and waiting to ship (more than a week after assembly). 2 days later it showed In Transit. However it did show it arrived the same day the dealership called to say it was there.

Speak of the devil, one day after showing a production date of 1/17/23 it showed up as built on 1/18/23. Awaiting delivery now. Can’t wait for my Stone Blue Limited!

If anyone looking for special edition XLT Max in Onyx white with heavy duty tow is looking for one in early March in the Milwaukee area, I can get you in touch with the dealer. The 2nd expedition we ordered as a "hedge" 2 days after the first has now been scheduled for wk of Feb 27th. PM me if you're interested and I can connect you in a couple weeks after my first arrives satisfactory.

My Platinum finally came in two days ago. I was probably 50/50 on getting it because it didn’t have the multi contour seats, but I decided to give it a look. Especially since I had locked in a great interest rate from Ford when I ordered.

Ultimately decided against it. I was not impressed with the build quality on a $90k vehicle. The platinum leather was already cracking and there were gaps in the seams, my daughters fusion has nicer leather. The top glove box would not close, the passenger side weatherstripping made a whistling noise when going above 45. Door panels had rough edges from the molding. One of the middle row seats would need a new seat cover because the zipper broke. Lots of little stuff, some of it nit picky of course.

All fixable, but who wants to deal with that headache. Shame because I am a Ford guy, and I love the way it drove and the ecoboost. Not sure where to go from here, as the Navigator is 20k more…so for now we will hold on to our Volvo.

My wife said this exact thing after test driving them both back to back. The price difference was barely 10k (expy plat was 83k, nav was 93k) and nav comes standard with more. we were looking for standard trim nav, not reserve, because even standard trim had more features than a platinum expy, but they are exceedingly rare. Ended up finding a good deal on a used nav.

Theres some navs out there without the mark up. Idk how far you are from San antonio, TX, but north park lincoln lowered their prices from msrp.

They also drive alot better than the expys as well.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I just checked my order status.
Last time I had a built date (Feb 27)
Now I don't
It's going backwards!

NOoooooOOOoooooOOooooooo!

Kidding aside. Does this mean anything?
Or just more randomness from Ford?
