Hi everyone, was wondering if any one here knows how to remove the black moulding pieces on the door of an 03 EB? Part number below if you aren't sure of what I'm talking about.

I can't find how to remove it either, even in AllData. Anyway, my guess is that you need to put the window down, remove the interior door panel, remove the belt weatherstrip and then you're likely to see whatever holds it in which may include something that is hidden by the belt weather strip and the window channel weatherstrip.

Yeah I couldn't find anything online myself. I was hoping I wouldn't have to take the door panel off. Well I'll give it a shot tomorrow and report back with pics if I figure it out.

Don't be concerned about the interior door panel. It comes off easy, in fact the hardest part is disconnecting the window and lock switch connectors I think. I can tell ya how to pull the panel if ya need it.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I get nervous when taking door panels off as I broke my driverside passenger door handle installing speakers.

Well damn, you were correct in that it was indeed behind the weather stripping on the door. The bad news it seems to be riveted to the door. Definitely beyond my skill level, le sigh...

Can you use a drill? Just drill out the center of the rivets.
Exactly then either put in a new rivet or maybe even a plastic push retainer. A bolt or screw would work, but would you'd have to seal the paint to ensure it doesn't rust.
