Tasca is out of stock with no time-line from Ford when they will receive more.
I thought about that - the value of that is really only 2 things - visual eye candy, and sound reduction. And the foamy makeup should improve the sound as much as possible. A big sheet of hard plastic would rattle and vibrate the way that is bolted to the top of the engine, ruining it for sound deadening. No one is going to poke at it or feel it, so it is pretty much only owners that know it is a floppy thing. As long as it does not start throwing off little bits of itself, that should not be a problem.I just received my cover this week, hoping to get it installed this weekend. Am I the only one that was a bit disappointed about the materials for the cover? I guess I wasn't expecting it to be as "foamy" as it is, maybe a harder plastic? Maybe it's just me.
