I watched the J&L install video. They show how to move the tab on the factory fitting to pop them off, but not quote clearly. Going to install it later today.

Installed the catch can today. Dropped the second speed clip, never to be retrieved, when I was drilling the second hole a little larger. Drill bit fell down the abyss as well lol.
Luckily, they also supply nyloc nuts, so nbd.
Old (stock) hose came off fine. Did the valve cover end first so I could rotate the intake end to get better access to the tab side.
Tried a few ways of routing the hoses so I could refit the stupid engine cover. They seemed a little long for the application. Hose to valve cover fitting I snaked under a boost pipe. On the intake the elbow has to face toward the rear. I did manage to get the cover back on, but it is being pushed up a bit by the hoses. Thinking this spring I'll remove the cover and trim away on the underside where it's contacting the hoses.

I also had trouble getting the engine cover to fit properly without it pushing down onto the pcv valve fitting/hose. I had to trim that area under the cover. I used a utility knife to carve out the foam. Cover fits perfect now. Thankfully the covers are made of foam and not hard plastic.

My intake hose is routed the same as yours but I dont have my pcv hose going under the boost pipe and its laying my on top of the thing circled belowWhat is that silver thing anyways?

I added the AVS Aeroskin hood protector to my Dark Matter Metallic 2023 XLT. It seems like a great product, and I really like how it blends in with the body lines, as well as the color.

A Expedition Raptor would be cool tho. Maybe a high output 3.5 Ecoboost, duel (w/ dual tip) performance exhaust, high flow intake, bigger MAF, raptor style body accents, Big brembo brakes with red calipers etc.
Or bring back SVT 2024 Ford Expedition SVT, druel...
