Hope this helps somebody else. AC pressure was high causing the fan to kick on immediately when it's turned on. Last year I noticed the AC wasn't really cool so I had it charged. When I took it in to another shop this year they said the pressure was high so they drained it and replaced low side valve which had a small leak. Filled to correct levels and everything is working fine, fan is back operating as it should.

Who did you have overcharge it, was it a mechanic or did a parts guy dump in a can of 134a?

So in my experiences with the fords, mostly the f-series, I have found that low freon charge will cause the high side pressure reading on a scanner to be 450psi causing cooling fans to run. Would be best to look at scanner data for pressures. The pressure switch thing will not help you in this case. Recharge the a/c or better yet. Fix the leak
