Deep Sleep Mode + Other Issues - '22 Limited Max

I have a '22 Limited Max with the 15.5" screen now updated to 3.5.4 software been having a couple issues recently.

1) If we don't drive it for about 24 Hours, the App says the car goes into "Deep Sleep Mode". Ford's website says this should only happen if you don't drive it for 2 weeks. So far the car seems to be starting fine, so my thinking is they did an update to shutdown the electronics in an attempt to make the battery last longer if people aren't driving it for a day. It can't possibly be a low battery but start up fine, right? I measured the battery at ~12.0V but I didn't get around to removing the terminals/loads, car was off. This is in the Los Angeles area so not really extreme weather causing anything.
2) I was hoping the software update fixed the running board timer issues, but no luck. Anyone able to get their running board timer to do what its supposed to? Mine will only stay out for ~ 5 seconds.
3) Saw some other posts on the driver side mirror rattling, anyone have luck with the dealership fixing it?

I brought it to the dealership, but they would only look at any issue if they could keep it for 3 days and wouldn't give me a loaner, even if i made an appointment far ahead of time. This is my first Ford, but seems ridiculous, every other manufacture, Subaru, Toyota, GM, etc all would give me a loaner for warranty issues if they needed it over a day. I tried contacting Ford but just spoke to some random person who didn't care and wouldn't do anything useful. The car itself has been nice other than these issues, but i'm not inclined to buy a Ford again if they have to take my car all the time, we don't have extra cars.

I’m retired and only drive vehicle a couple short trips a week. I learned from my raptor that the battery was not getting a full charge. Service advisor told me that there was a constant drain on battery from all the electronics when turned off. I bought a Battery Tender for AGM batteries for the Expedition. Full charge now after park for several days. I’m not having any of the other problems you are having. My dealer does supply a loaner vehicle though.

@Briguy6 , if you are seeing 12.0V, then your battery is definitely low. At rest, should be in 12.6-12.8V range. There are other threads that talk about this as well if you do a search. Deep Sleep is definitely an indicator of very low battery. Auto start stop not shutting your engine down is as well. I just had my battery replaced by Ford after ~4 months and ~3K miles in service. I made an appointment and my dealer tested and replaced the battery while I waited. Go get yours checked. If you can't wait for it, call another dealership and see if they offer loaners. I'm in the east, but have to imagine there are numerous choices of dealers in the LA area.

Just charge the battery. When running you should be 13.4v+ and when off after 30 min it should be 12.5v+.
Remember to use the right terminal for the negative. Don’t just connect it to the battery.

I have come to the conclusion the battery doesn’t get a full charge just driving short trip. Also on my raptor I had same problem and replaced battery at 3 years old. Dealer informed me that with all the electronics when park they draw quite a bit of power. He recommended putting a battery charger on it every night. I purchased a

Battery Tender 4 AMP Car Battery Charger and Maintainer: Switchable 6V / 12V, Automotive Battery Charger and Maintainer for Cars, Trucks, and SUVs, Lead Acid & Lithium Battery Charger - 022-0209-BT-WH also does AGM.​

Drove a hundred miles yesterday and when I got home plugged the charger in instantly started charging light blinking at 80 percent charge. No more power saving mode restart or turn engine off that I experienced on my raptor. Just my experience after using the charge. Hope this helps someone.

100 miles is not a short trip, that would make me think something else is going on and draining power. Running a batter maintainer/charger isn't a practical solution for everyone. To me that is a lazy/bad answer from the dealer. The right way to handle it would be to allow the electronics that draw all the battery power to "sleep". Maybe it does when the car is locked and people who park in a garage that don't lock the car have the issue more?
