Have the BO system? Look at your center speaker cover that is warped. Look at the 1/8” gaps in the corner of the instrument cluster housing where it meets the dashboard. I can literally see inside and see the clips.
I check the cover and cluster housing. I must be lucky fit looks good. Build date 11/27/22. I’m having Max Pro 80 ceramic film put on the windshield. A clear film that cuts down the heat and uva rays on the dash. Had this on my last three fords, you can park it in 90 degree heat, you can lay your hand on dash barley warm feel. Having it installed on rear passenger windows and the rest of the tinted glass. Also the hood front fenders and front bumper & headlights will have paint protection film installed to prevent rock chips.

It will be a year in April that we bought our 2019 Max platinum. I adore it. Every single day, I get in and feel great about what I'm driving. Our kids love it too. Even almost a year later and they still comment about how great it is. I do agree there are more issues post covid. But that is across all brand and all models. It's not a Ford problem but an industry problem. More of the components need to be made in the USA. I think there will be a course correction in the future.

Read a forum for the new Wagoneer or Suburban. Facebook, etc. is full of nonstop issues.

I'd say relative to other American made vehicles, it's pretty good. Compared to Toyota, more issues.

I own a '21 Limited with HD towing, 22" rims, CCD and have 33K (17,500 towing a 6K trailer) since our purchase in Nov. '21. I've had a leaking LH front shock, the battery junction box recall both covered under warranty and (3) misaligned LH/RH doors which I fixed. Other than these issues, our truck has been really solid. The ride is great even with the (can't wait to replace) Hankook's and the overall build quality seems very good. I give my overall build quality a B grade. Since we will keep the Expo for the next several years, we purchased the Premium extended warranty for up to 150,000 miles which cost us $2300. One more CCD shock replacement will almost cover that expense. We looking for many years of enjoyment with our ride. I would buy it again...

As other have mentioned - people mostly jump on forums when they have problems or to modify. So it’s observer bias here for the reaponses. No one takes time to make a post about anything when it goes right. My experience isn’t with anything model year 22 (owned 18 and now 20 expedition) but no problems here.

I have to conclude the statement above after reading through this forum. Expeditions are built with low standard quality control, especially for model year 2022.
Nobody comes to the forums to say that nothing is wrong.

I just think the entire vehicle market is out of control. SUV's are upwards near $100K!!! This is Porsche territory. I feel for the money Ford is asking, these vehicles should not have historical and current problems such as coolant leaks, turbo wastegate noises, gaps in the instrument housing cluster and the historical vehicle fires. I know there will be some that may have a different view but for my hard earned money, I would expect better from Ford.

Especially a small forum like this. Offroad forums seem to give the best vibes on what’s really a problem. Even f150 forums. Whenever a vehicle a a potential for heavy mods the forums get better, complaints happen everywhere. It doesn’t make it better and it still sucks that you have your issues. I myself have an f150 raptor with 88k miles and I’ve had very few issues. It’s taken plenty of abuse. At the same time I’ve heard the auto industry has had so many part challenges across the board it’s unheard of for parts to have issues in this time of crisis. Ford’s CEO is revisiting and addressing quality so they know there can be improvements made which is a good thing
