Hi All,
I have a 22 Expediton Max SPP. Just got the rear climate control retrofitted into the truck. I noticed there is a plastic covered piece on top center that looks like a receiver for a remote control. What is this? Is it for a remote or is it a sensor for the Auto Climate?

Thanks,

Donny

I don't want to derail your question, but curious why you had to retrofit rear climate control into a highly optioned Expedition.

Do you have a pic you can upload for the group? I can have a look in mine when it warms up a bit (I'm not opening my liftgate when it's frozen out if I don't have to until the roof spoiler/ puncture topic is vetted out), but mine isn't a Max.

The rear climate control was a delete in 2022 due to chip shortage that was planned to be retrofit later. Mine was built in June without it and retrofit last month.

Assuming that’s a thermal sensor.
