Guys, I am upgrading campers, my question is, what aftermarket suspension help have you found that works with the independent suspension? i have looked and looked and I haven't had any luck, what am i missing?

Also just curious, what size campers & weight are you pulling?

2022 Expy XLT Max (1,780 payload)
2021 Airstream FC 30Bunk (7,900 loaded) 930lb at the hitch.
Have 6k miles of towing with the Expy, tows great!
My investment went into my hitch, Hensley Arrow. Also check out the ProPride, one of these is a must with the softer suspension.

We had a 34' airstream (in my profile picture), about 10,000 lbs loaded with full tanks but I never weighed it. We're picking up a Keystone Springdale 251BH which will be lighter and under 30' but we've never had any issues with the suspension. The Expedition is a great tow vehicle!

I use the Hensley Arrow. This type of hitch is a must for towing a long trailer. Weight is less of an issue. The sway comes from how much wag your tail can have.
As for the loads, i absolutely swear by the Rancho Quick Lift system. Not only more travel, but heavier spring rate, beefier components, AND adjustable damping. Crank it for towing heavy loads. You cannot believe the difference. I also did the front end as I plow in the off season. The ability to adjust the damping makes all the difference.
I am not an employee of, or paid by Rancho for this review. I just swear by this set up.

We pull our 1971 Airstream 31' Land Yacht with our 2007. I added SumoSprings helper springs to the rear suspension. They really helped stabilize the ride.

I would tow it first and see how it pulls before upgrading suspension. I have been pulling a loaded down 28 ft outback 240urs approx 8,000lbs and have no issues with suspension with a good wt. distribution hitch and sway bars. I have 20 expy max with tow package.
