Caplanm..There is a company that makes a auto stop delete that plugs in to the back of the auto stop switch. They work great! Not sure what brain came up with this stupid dangerous idea. I was on the breaks as muy son exited the car, let up slightly on the breaks... but still on.. The car restarted and lunged forward as he was half way out the door. I can not always remember to push the auto stop delete.. and the eco drive mode. Not sure, with all the computer stuff why the car can not remember the last state it was driven when shut down.. Even my motorcycle remembers what was going on when I shut it down.

I visited Advance Autoparts. When cranking the battery put out 916 amps. It was slightly undercharged when it arrived, even after spending the night on the battery tender. The charging system checked out as OK. I was told to drive it longer. I am at a loss as to where to go from here.

My battery is less than 3 years old. I went on a 3 week trip and came back to 9.9 volts, which I'd think would just about toast the cells. Anyhow, I recharged it up to 12.7-12.8 and hooked it up and it didn't last overnight...dropped down to like 11.9. OK, but even with a damaged cell or three a regular draw shouldn't take it down that far overnight...y' think? I did a phantom draw test and get a reading of 0.18 amps. Is that enough to draw down a 2+ year old battery that's been well-maintained in 3 weeks? What's a normal draw supposed to be on a 2014 LTD with no add-ons other than a factory tow package? Rear wiper is docked. I'm gonna start pulling fuses today to try and isolate a possible phantom draw.

Get a new battery. It's $200 on rockauto.

Pretty sure I’m getting a new one, but first I wanted to eliminate if I had a phantom draw issue. After running DIY test with my multimeter, concluded that’s not an issue. Hello new battery!
