I was wondering if anyone has installed OEM fog lights from a Limited or higher trim, on a 4th gen XLT(2022). I can not seem to find much online about doing so. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello, I have an 2022 XLT and I bought the actual fog lights from FORD, after having them at hand I realized that I also needed the "FOG LAMP END COVER", also the "FOG LAMP BEZEL TRIM MOLDING" and some screws, also I needed a different "Headlight Switch" assembly since the one equipped doesn´t control fog lights. I have the fog lights at hand, and every other part is in the cart, but now I wonder if I will need a "fog light wire harness", and also, have the same concerns you have, how hard will it be to do this my self!

I believe you will need the harness. The expeditions without fog lights don’t have the connectors or wiring for the fogs built into the light harness, from the factory.

Looking into installing fog lights in our 22 xlt also. After talking with local Ford dealer it seems that without the factory wiring harness, light switch, relays, light bezels and actual fog lights doing a oem install is not practical. Dealer suggested I look into aftermarket items which would be compatible with the Expedition.

i think the factory fog lights are pretty worthless. Looks are on point but not a lot of light output. I would suggest going with a hight quality light from like rigid industries for Baja designs, or morimoto. Probably costs around the same but your lights will be so much better. Jmo.

Would you happen to have the part number for the fog lights?

Thank you for all these info. All these would be too much trouble for me. I just quit.
