2022 Limited forcing headlights to Auto mode

Yes, but it's also the safety to all of us because we might not see them on the road because they don't have their lights on.

Auto-headlights....

One of the most useless
, Lazy people need, features IMO and just another "module/sensor" that can break and cost millions to fix at the dealer.

This is why vehicle cost so much, cause they have too many unnecessary things, Tho are convenient....

All true. But Ford implemented them the correct way stopping morons from driving around with only their DRL's on (and no taillights) at night. Because the DRL's only work if you have it on auto.

Mostly Honda's and Nissan's that have morons doing this.

I don't mind the Auto feature. The Adaptive headlights on our 150 that can be enabled via FORSCAN are AMAZING. The way it moves light around is awesome. Getting that feature to all Ford's now that the laws have changed is going to be a game changer.

Does your F-150 get finicky with the auto high beams? Whenever I get snow my 2023 keeps turning them on for little flashes even on the highway when I’m in traffic!! They have the override to time them out for a few minutes but I don’t like how they do that. It’s like the truck gets confused when the snow hits that camera up in the windshield.

The self adjusting ones are sweeeeet, I’ve seen a lot of people enabling that

The Adaptive coding takes a lot of that hyper sensitivity away, because it is looking and taking many other factors into consideration. 2 times in over a year of having adaptive enabled, it has been confused and locked the high beams on. Click of the stalk back and went back to manual High beams. Restart of the Truck, and they were back to normal. Whole truck is computers and one gets out of whack every now and then. Manual always works as far as switching from low to high.

I've a '23 and you can go into one of the menus, can't remember if it's vehicle settings from the steering wheel or through the screen but I know there is a setting to have DRL on or off. Mine were set to off when I got the car, I set them to on.
