Looks great. Your wheels fit the lift well. Did you ever get back to the rockers? I did mine after they turned to dust on my 07. I had to have a metal shop bend some up on a break. They ended up perfect and pretty cheap.

Hey everyone it's been awhile. I'm still driving my expedition and she's running great and looking good as ever.
Over the last couple months or so I've been starting to work on the truck again so I thought I'd come back for a few updates.
I've really been thinking hard about buying a new Ford ranger tremor ( I plan to keep my expedition also) but I can't find exactly what I'm looking for so I decided to keep my expedition for a couple more years and fix it up and then just pretend that it's a new truck.
So first off, I replaced the cam phasers. The timing chain and the guides. When it was a part I put in a high volume oil pump and replaced all the spark plugs. It's running like a brand new truck again. Minus the muffler and tailpipe which was literally about ready to fall off.
So next up was the exhaust the actual piping of the truck was in pretty good shape so I just fixed one of the gaskets and put in a high flow Cherry bomb muffler. The truck actually doesn't sound much louder than stock but it's real nice when it starts up at idle.
I didn't get very many pictures of that process I actually had a mechanic do my phasers and an exhaust shop do my exhaust work I was feeling lazy and didn't have the time to do it myself but here's a picture of my muffler for any of you that actually care.

So then I decided I needed to update my audio if I was going to make this thing feel like a new truck. I put in a new head unit. It is the TeYes CC3. I ordered the expedition install kit and it came with a trim ring and a " plug and play harness" it looks factory and it's amazing.

Over the winter I was running late to get one of my kids and was in quite a hurry. I may or may not have accidentally put the truck in reverse and backed into a tree. It was a gentle bump but it was enough to break out my whole tail light. It's the only time I have caused damage to this truck since I've owned it. So of course new tail lights are in order to match the headlights.

Here's a quick picture of the new tail lights if you look closely you can see the little bit of crinkled up body work right in front of the tail lights. It's really not too big of a deal though I do plan on starting to off-road this truck and it'll probably get a couple scratches here and there anyways.

Which housings are those?

I've gone through a few of the non-projector aftermarket housings and they all seem to fail within a year or two. Most will leak moisture within a few weeks and the few that don't will get hazy and the clearcoat will peel within a few months.

Here's just a couple quick pics of my last adventure with my kids. It wasn't anything crazy or hardcore four wheeling we are just out exploring some back roads.
