Get ccd, and if need be, put it in sport mode. 22s on regular suspension isn't the most comfortable, and ccd on the 22s is luxury level smooth. I believe the stealth ccd is sport tuned, so it'll be a bit firmer than the regular.
Sir, I’m debating between purchasing a 22 Limited Max 4x4 SPP 18k miles for 69k or spending roughly 83k for the same model with lower miles AND CCD. What would be your reco?

Do you know how to tell if a vehicle is pre refresh or not?

18 - 21 is the pre refresh 4th gen. They have a different front clip with different grille, headlamps and taillamps. Also, the dash and interface is vastly different.

My initial impressions of a 2020 with ccd and 22's vs my 2019 with Bilsteins and 18's is that I liked the Bilsteins better. I have now towed with the 2020 and I feel like I need to add sway bars where that was never something I felt I needed on the 2019. Also, when I have the bike rack on the back with 7 bikes on it I feel it a LOT more than I did with the 2019, hitting bumps it does much more bobbing up and down and side to side again hoping swaybars help a little with this. The ride normally does feel very good with the ccd but I don't think it handles the towing and extra weight of the bike rack as well as the bilsteins did. I do plan to find a set of 18" wheels and tires to use and the 22's don't fit my lifestyle choices but I don't think that will solve the bobbing and swaying issues.

The thing that bothered me the most about the base springs was the ride variance. My 18 ltd had 20s not the 18s, so it probably lost a bit of softness compared to the xlt. In regards to ride variance, everyday, the ride would feel different. When the ride was good, to this day one of the best rides in an suv (rn the escalade where's this title, but I haven't driven the new x7 or gls), however, on it's worst days, it was one of the worst rides in a modern suv.

The variance is evident in my nav, but nowhere near as bad. Also, I def understand the Bob and weave, but I personally like that over harder bump impacts and occassional choppy rear end. The base suspension is way better in the city though. My nav is terrible in downtown. The expy was really good in cityscapes.

Fairly small sample size, admittedly, but very pleased with the ride of our '22 Limited with 302A, CCD w/ road preview, HD Trailer Tow, and 22's for the first 11,500 miles. I've driven a few rental Expeditions that did not have CCD, but that is the extent of my experience without CCD. I do wish the mode selector didn't default to "Normal" each time the vehicle was started. It would be nice if there was a setting where it recall the last setting used or something. Haven't towed anything more than a small utility trailer thus far, but at this point the decision for the CCD was the right one for us.

This is not an educated point of view, but I have a 2022 SPP without the CCD and I sure wish I did. I thought it was included in the 304A package, but with the sport tuned suspension and the heavy duty tow package we have a pretty stiff ride. I wish there was a way to retrofit it and I'm kicking myself that I didn't know to option it when I ordered. But I'm saying that completely without ever experiencing the CCD. But I can tell you our ride is rough enough that I specifically researched this and looked up our build to see if I had it.
