New EL owner in north Georgia!
Hoping to find out the simple pleasures of Expedition ownership. Bought a nice used XLT EL just yesterday and my wife and I think…hope we have a winner!
And yea, I am Bulldawg born, Bulldawg bred bread and when I’m gone I’ll be Bulldawg dead. I had to get the girl dressed up. Mh wife is saying she looks like a secret service escort vehicle.
Now…do I want to switch to Michelin Defenders now or wear out the tires I have ?

Nice truck, welcome, I like the Secret Service look, keep it that way and you will get more respect on the highway. The decision to keep or change your tires depends on A) what you are riding on now, B) how much tread is left and C) If you like the current ride or not.

Welcome to the forum. I changed out my tires to Defenders at 1000 miles. Best thing I did love the ride improvement and traction in heavy rain over the Generals.

Some hard riding tires by “PrimX”
They ride like a two horse buggy on railroad gravel.
I may go ahead and get the LTX’s

Huh, never heard of PrimX. Can’t go wrong with Defender LTX. Great tires for Summer, Winter, Rain, Snow, Highway, Gravel, Dirt.

The only surfaces I haven’t driven them on is mud and sand and I don't plan on it either.

Mad respect friend!
Narrows it down to you being Barner Gator or a vawl.
Neither. Not really a college football fan just someone who goes against the flow. It all started around 1982 with all the rabid fans at that time. If I lived in Fla, Tenn or Al I would probably be a UGA fan once or twice a year.
