I have a 2003 Expedition with the 4.6. I just put a reman in it and am ready to fire it up. I am having trouble with the oil pressure. I put a new pressure sensor in, pumped oil into the oil filter adapter, and filled the oil filter before installing it. I unplugged the crankshaft position sensor so it won’t start when I crank it over. I crank it for about 25 seconds and then give the starter about 2 minutes to cool down. I’ve done this multiple times and the oil pressure gauge on the dash still doesn’t register any pressure and the dummy light still says low oil pressure. Anyone have any thoughts? I don’t want to fire it up without knowing I am good on oil pressure.
