Newbie here with 20' XLT. We got this used with 200A package.
So does it have lane departure and emergency brake? I don't need it but my wife prefers. I tried by turning on lane departure and drifted off but nothing happened. Not sure if we got is faulty. What should the display look like? Thanks in advance.

Ps: camera clean with no fault message on gauge cluster, system is on with the icon on display. If i set desplay for lane departure it is just 2 grey lines, driving at 100km/h (60mph).

Automatic Emergency Braking is on your truck. Believe its standard on all Expeditions. Lane Departure is just an alert and some aid. It will not keep you centered in your lane and I dont even feel the aid.

I certainly don't feel the aid and no display change on screen. Not looking forward to test AEB though.

Starting on the 20' Exp the Ford 360 safety comes standard. It includes lane departure and brake assist. There are a couple things to it. Lane assist doesn't activate until 40+ mph. You will see the green lanes on the dash illuminate if it is functioning, they will go yellow depending on which side you are departing.

The other thing to keep in mind is that the brake assist function works only up to 80mph when NO adaptive cruise control is installed. Your model should not have the adaptive function. On the 20' model, only limited trims and up recieved it. So keep it under 80 if you want your brake function to work.

I've seen some claims about how the brake assist function is compromised, somehow I believe it turns itself off. So check to make sure in the vehicle settings on the dash, that they are both active. I keep them set on High for my wife. She also likes the function.
God bless!

I can certainly feel the feedback in the steering wheel when I try to change lanes without using turn signals and also when driving in lane and closing in on the painted lane markings. It will "bump" the direction of travel away from edge of lane. If you are not getting this feedback something is either not set correctly or inoperative. Mine has stopped working before, just temporarily for unknown reasons, left no code. I am thinking maybe the sun angle was the culprit. Also, you do have AEB function. Remember that you must be on a properly marked road so the camera can track the painted lines.

When my lane departure is on and I start to drift off lane my vehicle will start to forcefully pull over to the shoulder while coming to a stop, the engine will shut off a display will show on my cluster saying "coffee break" and a 16oz iced coffee will magically raise up from one of the cup holders and wont let me drive again until I drink all of it. Its an amazing feature. Also, Ford will automatically charge $5 from my bank account.

I can't seem to find where to set that function up yet but I keep scrolling through the pages. I finally get to the mcs controls but then I'm too relaxed to care or continue.

You have to have a Ford dealer turn the feature on. Just go to the dealer and ask the service advisor that you need your Coffee lane departure feature turned on. I think there is a coffee fill tank in the engine compartment somewhere also that they will need to fill. Have them add some expresso also
