If you don't already use Rain-X You really need to.
Worst storm ever and I could see perfectly and my wipers were off.

Would keep you going down the road in a failure and not sitting
on the side of the road where everyone else can't see either.

This massive safety recall of wiper blade arms shows Ford still doesn’t have a handle on its poor quality (and continues its numerous safety recalls after having the most safety recalls and number of vehicles recalled in history in 2025).

Wiper arms are basic items that have been used for many, many years. There is no excuse for such defects.

Hmm, we had our 2021s wiper arms replaced under a recall a few years ago. Is this the same one or new?

Thats a good question. According to the article-

Owners of impacted models are expected to receive notification letters on April 13, according to the notice. Officials said that dealers will inspect and replace affected wiper arms, as necessary, free of charge.

I just looked up my VIN on the NHTSA website. Looks like they don't have a remedy for this yet and anticipate a remedy to be released by June 36, 2026.

Looked my VIN up on NHTSA site. Only open recall is the RVC which I'm aware of.
