Window motor and/or regulator
After more investigation the motor can be removed without removing the regulator. See youtube video link below, about 6:45 minutes in. I removed my motor and started to test and clean it. I have always in the past replaced both motor and regulator. Somewhere I read that motor could be replaced without removing the regulator. I will just replace both as in the past. Thanks for the response. Bob- Bob13

Window motor and/or regulator
1999 Expedition XLT 4x4 5.4L Drivers side window is up and does not function. When pushing the window button I hear the relay clicking. There was none of the typical grinding noises when the regulator goes bad. I assume that it is the motor only. All the other windows work. I understand it is...- Bob13
