Oil inside spark plug holes on 2008 expedition
Soooo ... The Sparkplug was the problem? You have an oil leak, no matter what plug you use you're still going to have an oil leak. SMH- NoScope

Tried a few more dealers in PA today, still no answer. Gettin comical at this point. The plugs on 5.4 don't go thru the Valve Cover at all. You're not related to Pineapple Kush, are you? lol- NoScope

Thanks Jeff. If that O-Ring were to leak however how could that cause any smoke, a miss etc...? Even a bit of water in there would still be kept out by the plug itself. I do understand the Valve Cover possibility. Taking a better look at Covers in the morning. 3 Ford Stealers called. 2 Straight...- NoScope

Ford Dealer Stumped, 2 other dealers said I was nuts. The seals are there and I doubt they only come with the heads- NoScope

What Is This?
There is an O-ring in the Cy Head above Spark Plug as shown in picture. 2010 Expy 5.4 3V 4WD I have looked everywhere, Diagrams don't even show it. Mine were dried, brittle etc... I assume it's to help keep moisture out. Would love to reinstall with new ones. Thanks.- NoScope

2001 XLT 2WD, Engine actually ran very good, gas mileage was'nt great but... Through the help of this forum I was finally able to resolve a long standing 'Check Engine' Light Issue. I had Codes P0171, P0174 (Lean Banks) and the P0401 (Insufficient EGR Flow) After cleaning MAF, checking vaccum...- NoScope
