Recommendations for 18" wheels on 23 Limited with 20's

I'm using the wheels taken off a brand new 2023-ish F150 FX4. Yes, I had to trim the stubs off the axles to mount the rear dust caps. they are the exact offset and width and tire size as the expedition 18" wheels.

    dashcams for gen4 ?

ok, 4K daytime, and night time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyarmplJQFA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezVDK5cULrM I also rerouted the rear wire, this time starting at the front, as I somehow messed up starting in the back and didn't have enough slack. Was *WAY* easier with a trim...

the owners manual for my 2019 is insanely long. Like nearly 600 pages. My 2019 did come with an actual book in a black nylon case with a velcro flap, along with the service guide.

I just realized, the camera was set to 1440p so the video I uploaded to youtube was in fact 2560x1440. I switched the camera to 3840x2160, so when I upload a new vid, thats what it should be.

    Convert rotary to console shift?

my biggest problem now is switching from the Expedition's rotary shifter to my wife's 2016 Mercedes E350 wagon, which has a little joystick on the steering column, where 'up' is R, 'down' is D, and a pushbutton on the end is "P". On the upside her car has paddle shifters, which automatically...

I got the 4K version, its 3840x2160 aka 2160p ... yeah re the reflections, but the sun was very low to the west (left) ... The camera lens is directly in front of the rear view mirror, be hard to put it much higher. I did put the polarizer on it, but I didn't test different polarizer...

    dashcams for gen4 ?

I don't like having wires hanging under my dash when I'm driving, not sure the ODBC plug would be my preferred power source as its right where my knees might hit it. This FitCamX is powered off a Tee adapter plugged into the rain sensor in the mirror cluster. No visible wires at all lets...

Expedition as Long Trip Road Vehicle

FWIW, I like the 2nd row bench... when you fold the 2nd and 3rd rows down with the buckets, there's a big hole between the seats.

Expedition as Long Trip Road Vehicle

not sure who you were asking, but I changed to a new set of 'take-offs' from a late model F150 with the 'appearance package', I've also seen them on FX4's. my original 'stealth' 22" wheels, My F150 18's... you do need to trim about 1/2" off the end of the stub axle on your rears or the...

    dashcams for gen4 ?

and my FitCamX arrived. They sent me the 2-camera version :-O so I installed it today. I need to re-route the rear wire as I didn't leave enough slack in back and have too much in front, and when its not so hot out, I need to mess with the wiring under the cover up front so said cover fits...

ok, i sent them pics of my mirror, and they said yes, the '2023 expedition' version should work, so I ordered it.. turns out this is the same vendor who's Mercedes E (W212) specific cam I looked at a couple years ago for my wife's car. I'll probably revisit that after doing the Expedition...

Every 2024 Non Max Expedition has the same Payload Sticker

certainly, a 4x4 should have a lower payload than a 2x4 as its curb weight is several 100 lbs heavier, with the front differential, transfer case, and associated axles. For example, my 2019 Limited Stealth 4x4 says 7450 lb GVWR, and 1504 lb payload.

    Help!!!!!!!! Alarm system

i've had very few problems over the decades with FACTORY alarm systems, its the aftermarket stuff that butchers things. Ok, when i was driving 80s/90s Mercedes (300E etc), the factory alarms on those got sketchy at about 30 years and 250000 miles, solution was to unplug the ATA (alarm)...
