If you wrap, then do not try to match the white. Look at matching the gray from the wheel pockets or even flat black in the front. In other words, pick up a more subtle piece of the trim and see if you can get a wrap to match it. It will not be as stark at the gloss black but have a good...
There are guys all around me with trucks and SUVs with RV and Boat trailers. None of the gas guys are happy and all of the diesel guys are happy. My simple mind tells me that if you are routinely going to do a weight combination above 7 to 8k you are not going to be happy with big heavy gas...
We are debating a 2025 Tremor or a 2025 Chevrolet Suburban Z 71. I like them both, but we might could use the extra interior for gear and the obligatory dog.
It is awesome if a battery in a newer vehicle lasts more than 3 years. Modern cars have computer chips and monitoring devices and sensors and the electronic start/stops all over them and they draw a lot of combined power. I have had several batteries completely die between two cranks. I would...
I have had 5 vehicles with Sunroofs that never leaked or failed. I am not saying it isn't a risk but I don't think it happens a lot. I would prefer a Tremor without it because of the risk of damage from weather, trees etc.
I am not sure an Expedition MAX Tremor would be a good idea because it would be too much of a butt dragger? As far as utility goes no argument there. Why not just modify a Max with a small lift and add skid plates?
Best way to do this is to take your preferred options to a Ford Dealer and let a Sales Manager know what you want. They will pull the official build sheet and see what options are possible. Web builds are ok but not necessarily always up to date or correct. I've seen vehicles on lots with...
Chevrolet is too complicated and frustrating with their build criteria. I couldn't wait for a diesel Z 71 Tahoe, but now on the build site anything you try to add but tow package enhancements will kick you back to the V8.
Those look like the normal panel cover. In that picture they show item "19" with no explanation, but looking at the drawing that looks like the advanced cargo management table or a cargo net LOL.
Thanks for the input so far. I think I am just concerned about losing the sensor functions (object detection forward and backward). The cameras are nice, but I don't mind the beeps when the truck 'sees' something. If those are active, I don't think I will miss the park assist because I rarely...
I searched but did not see a discussion on this. I am looking at some used 2022/2023 Timberlines. I noticed some have one or more deleted option items, such as auto stop/start, active park assist, hands free liftgate... some combination of those or others. Are they available for retrofit? I...
I think Chev, GMC rushed to put out the update but were not as far along to getting production ready. They announced a new diesel engine but it isn't available until next March
