You've almost certainly got a pinhole coolant leak dripping into the well and killing your #8 coil (again) or the wiring there or maybe the injector (I forget if that's also possible).
Coolant doesn't really evaporate and just stays there.
Speaking from experience that this is a thing that...
Just install some kind of LED projectors down there.
Lazy move would be to wire them to the headlights (downside - always on), or you could wire them up properly and add a switch somewhere too.
Regarding plugs being right there: they're ALWAYS right there and always will be.
You can swap them out without removing anything whatsoever (if nothing is messed up and you don't have the plugs that can break apart and do decide to break apart on you).
Some stretching involved and shorter...
3rd gens have something parasitic for sure, the alarm or the remote or something will drain the battery if you don't drive it for more than a week.
I've owned 2 - an Expedition and a Gator L - and both did that.
I used to run with a removed middle seat, iirc you just put the bolts back in for most of the holes. There might have been a couple pins that weren't bolts, if so put in a rubber/plastic stopper and/or tape over it or something.
Nope, don't want it
What the Hyundai-Kia is that thing?!
The Gators look pretty solid, though, might pick one up used after a few years. Although I'm not entirely sold on that weird strip (light bar? what is that thing?) down the middle of the grille.
Surprisingly, different years can have different harnesses within the same generation, even for the same motor/facelift period
Not sure about other stuff, but afaik seats are different for 2007-2008
What harness is it?
2009 Expedition SSV, V8, 4wd.
Shakes in park after driving when I pull into a parking spot. Has been doing it intermittently for a week or two, used to have no codes, just now finally threw a check engine light and P0012 and P0022 codes.
Ideas? Suggestions? Thx.
Got em bled after all, not much air in there at all - couple tiny bubbles.
The "trick" was as simple as throwing a deep socket over the bleeder and giving it a gentle (!) pull.
I usually never use regular wrenches for anything and have forgotten just how much less effective those were.
PS at first it pumped out lots of air bubbles. Ended up bleeding out like 600-700 mL of fluid from the rear two calipers before it ran clean and bubble-free, if that information changes anything
I replaced the two rear calipers and bled them successfully, but the two old fronts have seized up bleeders. Front brakes were OK and functioning before I started working on it.
Is it likely to be OK or do I really need to get them undone and complete the procedure?
Note: one of the rear...
So, grinding noise from the back, then I see... THIS.
What/huh/what, how does that even happen?
Which kit should I get to replace it, Detroit Axle or Powerstop? Or is a 3rd reasonably priced alternative preferred? Thx.
Just be aware that:
1) You need a projector housing for HID and preferably for LED too
2) Aftermarket housings last 3 years if parked outside. Not 13, not 10, not even 5.
My driver's front seatbelt is getting a little tired and SHARP, it keeps chewing up shirts and sweaters and even giving me paper cuts.
I got some Chinese shoulder pad thingie for 5 bucks, but still... can I just swap it over to somewhere nobody ever sits instead?
Which other belt positions in...
Sounds about right, I went by some instructions and bought a fuel filter for my 2009 Expy... went down there to change it and the dang thing wasn't there.
Had a Gator L too for a while (2011? 2012? something like that) and it didn't have one either.
People are lazy and just write crap in...
You don't need a bench, you just need to buy the second row middle seat from a modder who removed his or a salvage yard and to disconnect the armrests if you have them
Otherwise, the seats are identical
The middle seat mounts with just several bolts, the body holes should exist already. Just...
2nd and 3rd rows fold absolutely flat unless you have captain chairs or a middle console (if so, swap to 8 seater configuration).
Just toss an air mattress over it and you should be fine unless you're like 7ft tall.
Get a roof rack or one of those luggage box things for stowing your stuff on...
