You also may need to reconsider your suspension geometry. You might need more rear lift or less front lift to prevent that level of rub.
34s are a little large on that setup. No tire rub issues on full lock turns?
Go back to stock or similar. I have moog on one side and carquest premium on the other, and I have ready lift spacers on Monroe quick struts in the front but there is no rubbing. This looks like a specific problem to those CAs.
Coolant smells sweet and is usually green or yellow and sticky. Brake fluid is clear-ish to reddish brown and has a oily feel to it and is sort of "fishy". Power steering fluid is the same as transmission fluid, red and strong smelling. AC condensate is literally water.
Either smell, taste, or paper-test and report back. Without knowing what it is there is no great answer. It could be coolant, AC condensate, blinker fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid (less likely), or anything else. What year/engine?
A chisel and mallet is the best way to get those axle seals out, but hit each side alternating left and right, so it comes out straight instead of at an angle.
The install is made easier by renting a race/seal driver tool, and seating it with one of those. Most auto parts stores rent them out...
Apparently not everything at Dollar General is a dollar, which makes me concerned about the quality if they can't even get the name right!
Also, I conveniently had my lower ball joint on one side fail last week. I am pretty satisfied with Mevotech Supreme and Mevotech TTX, which I have on my...
I finally changed the factory tie rods on my 2008 Expy. (Yes, 18 years along the line.) I used a rental tool on the passenger side (that long crowfoot thing), but the drivers side was amazingly seized on there. I found this precision pipe wrench at Lowes since nothing else worked. I didn't want...
Glad you got it fixed! If you ever do end up needing to clean the IACV, use throttle body/carb cleaner or similar. Make sure it's safe for plastic and rubber though, since some aren't. It's not a guaranteed fix, but always worth a shot.
A rough start and that mechanical buzz like that video sounds like a fuel issue. I'd suspect your injectors if your pressure holds solid while starting. That buzz is fuel injector noise. The comment above has the test for checking if they're leaking, but they could just be obstructed as well...
I have full skid plates, transmission cooler and a hidden winch installed with the Rough Country hidden winch plate for the F150. The only mod was drilling a third hole into the frame (where the F150 has an extra hole) and relocating the winch solenoid to not bump the transmission cooler. The RC...
Turn on your headlights and check if your headlights flicker a little bit when cranking to start the truck. If so, that's one of the signs it's the alternator.
Also check that your battery voltage is ~13.9-14.1 with the truck on (and all the electronics off) after a short highway drive. If it's...
Normally IWE failure on these presents as clicking/popping in 2WD, and shifting to 4A or 4F resolves it.
I had the exact opposite, where 2wd was normal but in 4wd the failing side had a loud repeated clunking under acceleration. Turns out the IWE was being pulled into shape by vacuum under 2wd...
