I think your on the right track. As your engine is revving up your motor is torquing to the passenger side. Until it finds the right gear and starts to coast. The movement from the engine while acceleration makes the cat contact the skid plate. I would as you put it remove the skid plate see if...
I found that the coolant was from the hose above cylinder 3. apparently when i had changed out the plugs i tugged on the hose just enough to cause a drip. I also did check the ground strap and i resealed it. however i did notice that when i pulled out the plug it had a white waxy looking coat on...
well i got a miss fire on cylinder 1 which means that is the COP that was acting up on cylinder 3. however it's now misfiring on cylinder 7 which started today. I'm thinking there is another culprit behind this. not sure where to go from here? I typically do all my own work but i really don't...
As long as the ARB is not locked you really shouldn't notice a difference. The ARB acts as an open diff when not engaged if I'm correct. If you don't want to mess with the air compressor you could use a powertank co2 unit. Very popular or use an ox locker up front. Unfortunately for the rear due...
How much total lift does that give you? There are several people running a 3x2 with no problems. But I would not recommend going more that 3 inches. It puts albeit of strain on your front end. I was thinking that route before going to rize.

I got hearers and cat back exhaust asking with brisk spark plugs and Weapon x cops. I also have an sct tuner and I'm getting an avg 15.2 mpg. And I believe stock was about 14.6 so if you do anything do it for performance not mpg. You'll never get your return investment on the items you buy for...
I decided to get an ox selectable locker for the front. And for the rear I'm still undecided. I would like a selectable locker but I'm not a fan of the ARB. I don't want to worry about airlines or seals leaking. I think I'll wait until ox makes a locker for the rear. I think I'm going to stick...
I was under the impression that stacking spacers was a very bad idea. And that if you go more than the 3 inch max you should do a full suspension lift at that time. that lifting that much is going to put a lot o strain on your tie rods and ball joints causing them to prematurely fail.
It's all coming together except for the shocks. I ordered my 4.88 gears today and master rebuild kit for the front and rear diff. as well as an OX Locker for the ford 8.8 up front. I was really wanting to get an ARB locker for the 9.75 rear diff but decided that i really don't want to mess with...
Howdy neighbor. I'm down south of you a little ways. Any how you might be able to check if your light switch pulles out because that is how my fog lights came on in my 98 f150. If not I'd be willing to bet that you could probably buy the light switch with the fog light option so or would keep it...
What shocks are you getting? I can't get a freaking answer from rize. I'm having to take pics and send measurements while doing the install in fully compressed and full droop in order to have custom kings made.

I had a set of 35 toyo mts on my f250.i didn't drive it much for about a 2 yrs when diesel was really high. I only drove it about once a week. After about 20,000 miles all of the tires started to Crack at the side wall and or bubble. So discount tire replaced them with NITTO Terra grapplers. I...
sorry to bring up an old thread, however I'm looking at lockers vs limited slip. I have not heard anyone talk about the OX 8.8 locker for the front and using an ARB locker for the 9.75 rear. For on the road i believe that the open diff is going to be best, but for off-roading a lcoker weather it...
I just got back in town. I decided to go with the 200 fuel lethal 2 piece wheels and sick to the NITTO mud grapplers. I went to discount tire today and I'm waiting for them to get the wheels in. And I will try to install the lift this weekend. By myself and see how it goes. I will send pics of...

I had some misfires on cylinder 3. I moved the plugs and cops around and now everything is running great again. I installed the sct and it seems to be running great so far. But have only driven about 150 miles

What is too hot for coolant temperature? Since installing my sct livewire ts it says my coolant tell while driving in the highway get to 195 degrees. Is that high. Ir seems high to me. At idle is 134.
