Torque Converter Alignment
'05 Expedition 4WD 4R75W installation question Junkyard install, it says to line up orange dab of paint between the Torque Converter and Flex plate. I won't be able to do it perfectly, since the bolts won't line up with the junkyard tranny vs. the original, it will be "off" by about 2-3...- mixerjv

brake line
line replacement for me usually ends up as a nightmare. The oem line is pretty tough and hard to work with in terms of flaring properly. It seems a little thicker outside plastic coating than the aftermarket stuff. Your orignal line is probably frozen on to the flexible portion, which will...- mixerjv

Decision to make - 05 blown Tranny & Engine Problems
I've rebuilt engines but never a transmission. I do have an extensive set of tools including parts washer, press, engine stand, engine lift, tranny lift, and a two car garage. Decision to make - 05 blown Tranny & Engine Problems
I'm a big fan of Ford's but this one is testing me: 05 Expedition, only 87,000 miles: Transmission no 3rd (or 4th). Probable Direct Clutch failuire. No codes. Not seleniod issue nor the common snap ring/ e clip OD failure. Workaround has been to keep it under 45mph with OD switch off...- mixerjv
