2011 Limited Transmission concerns, blower motor not working properly

Aux input in center console not working
I've tried to use the aux input in my center console with no luck. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I thought (don't burn me) it would be as simple ans plugging it in, and selecting "line in"- expy21
