The SL1 is a great performer but an HID will will eat it for lunch!
The SL1 was a huge break through for aftermarket led but even lead engineer at Diode dynamics(Paul M) would agree.
I'm sure that helped him a lot....
Pcmpete,
what are you going for? Different look, better traction in specific conditions or just a stock replacement? Also what state do you live in? Knowing where you live helps people understand what type of weather you deal with and that usually is one of...
I'm telling ya it something with the hub. I literally had my drivers side hub out today for the same exact problem. I cleaned and greased the hub, cleaned and greased the splines and pulled a vacuum on it while installing like Ford recommends. My issue is gone
Fyi these hubs are only a few...
I actually pulled mine apart today. Both my hubs were new so I'm guessing it was an assembly issue when I did the lower control arm bushings. I also did find the check valve not holding vacuum in the direction it should have. Replaced the Check valve, cleaned and re greased the hub and splines...
I'd be willing to bet the hub is the cause. I say that because I just repaired the same issue today. The hub gears were rubbing but when I spun the shaft in 2 wheel it was fine, spin the wheel in 4 wheel the hub locked without issue(the hub worked 100%). It only made the sound while driving and...

Might be worth checking the check valve also. I have 2 new hubs up front and I noticed the drivers side is making some noise. I'm going to test the check valve after my kids baseball game today. Seems like on the F150 forums when the check valve fails its usually the drivers side thats...
Thats good news. I may have to have my tires checked because I have the same but tires still look pretty new and only 2 years old. Might give me a reason to jam some 35's in there
75+ huh? I may have the same. Tires balanced, new suspension bushings, ball joints, alignment and at 75+ it shakes. I never do 75+ so really haven't looked into it
Its a very common thing on the F150 and most notice it at 50-60 mph. Do a quick google search and see how many you find. I just looked and theres a bunch
If that were the case your static suction would increase also and its not. It makes me question if there is an anti migration solenoid valve that is having the system pump down when it turns off. Solenoid valve would completely close the your liquid line causing an increase until the suction...
Tell me more about the switching near the drier for the clutch and condenser fan. I'm curious because seeing a 400psi head is insane and almost impossible if the compressor isn't running. 400psi=183°.
Was just the suction line extended or the liquid line also? I'm asking because the suction...
Order the gauges themselves not an entire manifold.
Nice job!
Fyi buy the gauges themselves not an entire manifold. Gauges themselves cost like 8 bucks.
