Oh man, I just saw this thread..
Sorry to hear J and glad to see everyone is ok.
Good luck finding a new one and hopefully you'll be joining us EL owners
Anyone ever seen these codes? All seem to be related to both upstream oxygen so I'm leaning toward a vacuum leak but really not sure at this point. I have alldata so I have a troubleshooting procedure but hoping you guys have seen them so I don't need to run through the entire pin out test.
You really need to see the height of the log splitter. If I was going to guess I would say a 4" drop would be in the ballpark based on the splitter heights I've seen. Might be worth trying to look up the height of the splitter and taking some measurements of the truck.
Have you tried engaging the 4x4 or 4 auto to see if it does away? I'm asking because the IWE is a common failure and causing a humming/grinding up front. Engaging the 4x4 will usually make it stop
The fasteners are on the intake for my 07 so maybe the intake could be swapped from the expedition to the F150.
Or hopefully the navi or later gens offer a better mounting system
Use forscan to turn off bulb out warning for the rear and put the resistors behind the headlight for the front. Make sure you mount them to the body of the car to dissipate heat
Another thing I forgot to mention.. if you remove the one that is on there do not just pull it off. The plastic is slightly flared to keep these on, if you yank it off it wears down the wide area and they'll keep popping off. Use a dremel with a cut off wheel or a pair of dikes and cut the metal...
I had no idea it was you.. Thought it was just someone new being a dick. Good to see you back
I do agree though and if it wasn't such a low post count I would have shut my mouth.
Might be worth signing up for a subscription to alldatadiy.com. They have pin diagrams for everything!
I have it for my 07 but its probably a different diagram.
