Love the silver! I'm torn because I've always wanted dark blue and I can get it now, but with the Gator I feel like silver or white with the solid band of black windows and pillars (then black wheels, maybe...) will look incredible.
Dark horse is the dark red color.
I've owned GM forever and prefer GM, but this isn't even close. Read to reviews, watch the videos, look for yourself.
The Gator and Expy are light years ahead of them all. And they are getting well deserved kudos from everyone.
Pricing update from my area...
Expedition:
- Fully loaded Platinum for 74
- Limited with RSE is 67
I've seen about half a dozen new rides around town this past week.
Navigator:
- Reserve with tech and audio package just sold for 81, 6k off MSRP
Haven't seen any rolling around town but was...
How is the Expy not 'truck-like'? The interior is identical to the Ford trucks, it has giddyup and I believe it's bigger.
The only thing the 18 Denali has over both Ford products is the exterior body style imo. Everything else isn't even close.
I'm in your boat and have test driven them all multiple times. Here's my rankings:
1. Gator
2. Expedition
3. QX80 (18)
4. Denali
After you drive both, the Denali will seem cramped and much less smooth. Additionally, the tech in the new Fords is light years ahead of GM. GM realizes it...
Nope, just console, which is why I assume it can easily be removed. Would be cool if the Gator could also, and you could snap a cover over the hole, store wiring, etc.
Anyone know if it can be taken out?
One cool thing about the new QX80 is the middle console can he removed temporarily if need be.
Handy place for a cooler every once in a while :).
Thanks for posting, this is extremely helpful!
Personally, this was one of the things I struggle with most, as we want the Gator but are torn because the Platinum Expy with the RSE is a definite need. It looks like I will be crossing this off my list and can go with iPads +Wi-Fi for a much...
After test driving everything in the market (including new QX80), the Gator and Expy are 1 and 2 by a landslide.
The Gator is total butter. Smooth, quiet, powerful, soft.
Our dealer said we should maybe wait for another month to see if incentives come out. They are actually having a Gator...
Taxes are high, but the SUV market in KC is huge. Johnson county (south KC, KS side) is one of the most affluent areas in the country, full of soccer mom's in bling SUVs.
On any given day while driving 15 Miles to the office, I can spot at least 20 yukons and 20 QX80s.
