Just get any of the better self applied ceramic coat products available at any auto parts store. I have been using 303 products for years....my 2021 Ranger looked brand new after 4 years with 303 Ceramic Coat....just gave it a fresh application about every 6 months.
Dealer applied is not...
Lot of you younger members probably don't know or remember, but Chrysler had "square" steering wheels back in the late 50's and early 60's. On their standard units like Plymouth's and Dodges all the way up to their famous Chrysler 300 series.....
Peanut Butter look/brown tan look.......oil is contaminating the coolant. Overheat..."Peanut Butter" doesn't flow. Head gasket/head or block crack ???????
There are numerous companies that make external sensor set ups for travel trailers, but can be used on vehicles....a tire is a tire....
But, a 4 tire set up with a monitor is likely to cost more than just going to Discount Tire and having 4 internal sensors mounted....
Recently had them replace...
Not to burst your bubble, but in dusty conditions the regular OE paper filter does the best job of filtering. The OE or Fram will outperform any "cleanable" mesh filter.
In my younger days I was a K&N believer, but now all I use are OE or equivalent filters. And, always OE oil filters...
From info that you can google, it appears that a base Expy with 4x4 can have a standard non slip axle. The ELSD is included with several packages that can overlap each other....like getting the heavy duty tow package and a FX4 package, both coming with the ELSD.....so you just need to know what...
The "3L" is the give-a-way....electronic limited slip diff., 3.73 ratio.
If you had a regular non slip the code would be 2L.
The Stealth Package does not include the ELSD, but the Control Trac and FX4 does.
The Trailer Prep Package does NOT come with the ELSD, but the Heavy Duty Trailer Tow...
Your vin will not show the axle type....on the door sticker there is an area on the bottom that has the axle type. Look at post #12 of this thread....shows you where to look for the axle code.
On a 2024 Stealth to get the limited slip, you have to have a tow package or a 4x4 package/control...
Don't exactly know how the 2024 packages are listed, but on my 2019 the "Heavy Duty Trailer Tow Package" is a separate package and includes the 3.73 Limited Slip ELSD axle.
However, my 2019 does not have the Trailer Tow Package.....BUT, it does have the FX4 Package which includes everything the...
Go by the sticker.....3L indicates 3.73 limited slip rear axle.
Also, if your Expy has a factory tow package, it has a 3.73 limited slip axle.
If it has an FX4 package, it has a 3,73 limited slip axle.
From the info I have seen, you must have either the Tow Package or the FX4 package to get the...
Not to be cynical, but, it seems that many of you just bought whatever Expy that was on the lot without first looking at what you were buying !!!!
Even buying used, you should be able to figure what packages are on the truck.
When all else fails, read the manual. When it gets to a specific...
Unfortunately with an independent rear suspension there isn't too much you can do. No air bag set up's are available.
There is a Sumo rear coil spring insert that may stiffen it up a bit, but the best fix would be to go to a pair of new heavier duty rear spring/strut assemblies from KYB or...
Thanks for the JL info, have seen it on their site.
But, on my previous Ranger I had the Ford Air/Oil Separator and it worked very well.
Trying to find out if the Ford Air/Oil Separator listed for the 2019 F-150 would be a direct fit for the 2019 Expy...
I like the fact the Ford unit looks...
Curious.....which catch system did you use ??? Maybe a Ford system from an F-150 ??? Or aftermarket ? Considering for my 2019. Had a Ford system on my previous 2021 Ranger, and it worked quite well.
I have a 2019 Expy XLT, recently purchased. It came with the chrome running boards with the raised rubber grips. When bought, I did notice that the chrome in-between some of the bumpers was bubbling....meaning rust underneath.
Looking to replace them with some aftermarket all black boards...
Any original Ford new car and a Ford extended plan are tied to the vehicle via the vin, and any Ford dealer should be able to pull up the info for any Ford warranty still in effect.....including any extended Ford warranty.
Possibility exists that any extended warranty still left on the vehicle...
My '19 doesn't have the tape, so it could mean that mine is an early "tape/crack delete", or maybe it was assembled with more care and attention to detail than your later years.....not having to be taped together......
At least I don't have to worrying about what would happen if the tape ever...
Personally, if it were mine, I'd take it in for a warranty claim........
too much tape on top, a glairing gap on bottom that tape doesn't cover, and to top it all off.....it's applied crooked !!!!!
May indicate problems in the future as the two halves of the truck may not be...
