i go with something like what tonydiv suggested. It would prevent the possibility of cross contamination if the radiator was to blow on the inside where the trans cooler is.
i was just wonderin i replaced my alt(97 eb 5.4) about 10 months ago and ever since i have had a whine at idle. i was wondering if a new battery would get rid of it. i charged the battery to 100% when i changed the alt out. Should i replace the battery it was bought in 03 by my uncle who had it...

hows your vacuum? i know that if your vacuum is low it defaults to defrost so at least you can see out your windshield vs having it directly blown on you.
speaker wiring : http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii34/trdragons44/62657979.gif
from what i can tell there is no way of seeing if its + or -. the only thing i can say is to follow the instructions here to test your old speakers if you remebered which wire went where.

I am looking at either a red top or a yellow top. Cant decide on which one to go with. Its for a 97 5.4 4X4. Not takin off road much just pulls my boat(when its not freezing out) and my daily driver.
like i said i pulled a P1728 code. i talked to my tranny teacher (who is a god with them). he said when the fluid gets burnt it allows the clutch plates to slip the more they slip the worse they get (they smooth out and don't grab) which is what is causing my code.
