Having the same issue with my "99". Didn't have much luck finding the glass w/signal. Local Ford house can only get the complete mirror housing, to the tune of $250.00. If anyone has another source it would be helpful.
Not unheard of to do couple thousand mile round trip for bird hunting. "If it flies it dies" Could use the extra ground clearance, but don't need it to ride like a lumber wagon!
Might have to go with more lift then I wanted (3/2). Don't do any rock crawling or anything like that. Mostly bird hunting or elk and deer hunting. Get on some narley roads but nothing too bad. Thought about a torsion twist and rear spacers, but don't want to deal with the harsh ride or wear on...
Sorry for the thread...know this has been covered ad nauseam. Local shop installs Rough Country lifts, says he can't find a 3/2 lift for a 99 Expedition! Any suggestions for him...be nice!:Violin:
Wouldn't that be an inherent problem with a torsion crank? I'm trying to gain a couple inches of lift without destroying the stock ride to much. Would adding the keys (or torsion crank) give me more clearance over the tires?
It has 148,000 miles and it's been about 7 or 8 thousand since the last tune-up. Cranking speed is the same hot or cold. Runs great down the road! Bad fuel pump??
