Blow dryer, and a little patience is what I removed pinstriping with. Any glue residue can then be removed with Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover or something similar.
Performance Accessories makes the body lift and Gap Guards for our Expedirtions. Mine was around $200, and $80 for the gap guards. I have a wrecked back, so I had mine installed in a shop for about $700.
With the Body lift and a torsion bar crank in the front and 2 inch spacers in the back, I...
Mine rides just fine. I can't keep sway bars connected , so I don't corner like a import though. I would raise the stocks before I put after markets on. Too much CV angle with the after market ones.... So I've heard....
and then I have the 2 inch spacers in the back to even it out.
I just use a 18mm socket and breaker bar.
I sprayed some WD-40 on the bolt about 10 minutes before I attempted the twist.
If someone is reading this who isn't sure how to do it.......
Lay under the b pillar and you will see the round bar coming from the front. follow it back and you will see...
There is such a thing as a 2WD !!!:wtf: Why the hell would anybody........
Just kidding. Didn't see that. Mine is 2WD a few months of the year when it's not snowing too. Then 35's will look great on your rig.
10.5 inches of lift may make 35's look small. They look perfect with 5 inches. Look up Walnuts4x4 's gallery. Just do a member search on this forum for him. I think he has about 11 inches I think and runs 37's. Looks about right.
Mine too. I was worried the first time I heard it. Now I'd be worried if I didn't hear it on a cold morning. The gap guards I put in after my body lift muffled the sound coming from my passenger side wheel well a bit.
I'm thankful for having a super wife and kids!!! And like Alaskan, having an incredible area to play around in. The Rocky Mountains are within a half hour's drive of the house. Always something fun to do in the mountains.
Check out this link to a thread where we are all talkin about it...

It's the Peformance Accessories 3 inch body lift. I also have rear coil spacers and a torsion crank on the front.. Here's a link to the Body Lift and gap guards. Lots of places you can buy them. This is just the first place that came up when I googled it. ...
If you buy the Performance accessories Body lift... all extensions are included. They also make gap guards to hide the gap ... about $80.

Body lift With gap guards
Can I suggest that you plastidip your wheels...... It is cheap and will make a huge difference to the look. Here's what your rig would look like with blacked out wheels. $5 a can, and you'll need 4 cans max. Plus when you are ready to sell your stock wheels, you can just peel the stuff off.
Welcome to the forum !!! I was in Charlotte a while back. We landed there to get to Lynchburg Virginia to look at some machinery we were buying. Wish I could have stayed a couple of days and visited some of the tracks in your area. Modding vehicles is a sickness. This site is definatley not a...
My wife gave me the go ahead on a Raptor, once the house and Jeep are paid off. Which won't be for another year. But I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the Expy for my son who is 13 right now. It might be a little big and $$$ for gas for a first vehicle. He wants a Jeep like my wife's. So we'll...
