Well, it's been a long time, but I'm guessing the $500+ range. Dealership will probably soak you for more. I think mine were around $600, but things are a little more pricey for auto parts up here in Canada.
Don't be shocked if yours need to be replaced rather than greased. It's one of those things that has to be done. Big $$$$$ . Unfortunately. But if they are replacing, get the greasable ones.

I had a problem finding the bypass for mine as well. Problem was that early 98's still required the PATS1 bypass, and later produced 98's needed the PATS2 bypass. Most books have the wrong bypass listed for 98's. Well, not wrong. It's right for 90% of the 98 models, just not the first 10% or so...
Click the link above the picture of my truck in my sig that says "click here now" It has all the parts #'s etc. for what you'll need. I'm sure you can use the autozone one. People have even just made their own with some rubber hose , rubber elbows, and hose clamps.
You can buy pinstriping at any store with an automotive department for under $10. But most graphic shops can do some pretty interesting stuff. This is what i put on my Expy a few years ago to cover up the previous owner's business graphics. It didn't last too long though. Started flaking off...
